Central Ohio Primary Care Physician’s Foundation has a simple mission - to improve the overall physical and emotional health of the underserved of central Ohio. Since inception, we have granted more than $400,000 to local charities in central Ohio, but the problem is large and we need your help to further our mission. Please consider supporting our foundation and the community in which we live.
The Foundation is a donor advised fund of the Columbus Foundation. It is a non-profit organization that was established on July 26, 2007 by the Board of Directors of Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Inc., a group of over 240 physicians consisting of internal medicine, pediatric, family practice, infectious disease, physical medicine and endocrinology physicians located at 46 practice sites in Franklin, Union, Delaware and Fairfield counties.
The Foundation will achieve its goals by encouraging and financially supporting nonprofit organizations that further our mission. Our initial grant-making priorities will address the most crucial needs of the underserved such as food, shelter, clothing, and access to prescription drugs.
As our funding increases, we will expand our priorities to include those organizations that are involved in the treatment, prevention, and cure of disease states, and improvement in the overall health of the underserved of central Ohio.
