About Our Team

Central Ohio Primary Care's Physical Therapy Department opened in February of 2012. Our physical therapists are dedicated to providing the best possible therapy for patients through individualized programs that will increase their function and mobility, reduce pain and allow them to return to their daily activities free of any restrictions.

rohrkemper_mary_kayMary Kay Rohrkemper, MS, AT-Ret, PT
Mary Kay Rohrkemper is currently the Physical Therapy Manager for Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians Physical Therapy. Mary Kay worked as a high school teacher for five years and a high school athletic trainer for 15 years before earning her physical therapy degree. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Dayton, Master of Science degree with a specialization in Athletic Training from Ohio University and Master of Physical Therapy degree from Andrews University.

Mary Kay’s career has been dedicated to helping her patients reach their maximum potential whether that is as a professional athlete, weekend warrior, or being able to walk without pain or fear of falling. She has extensive experience working with patients with orthopedic problems as well as balance disorders. Mary Kay has lectured at local and national conferences on a variety of topics in the area of outpatient physical therapy and athletic training.


leland lauraLaura Leland, PT
Laura Leland graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology. She has been working in Outpatient General Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinics since graduating in 2005. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2005 and this has aided her in rehabilitating and training a diverse range in patient population from the adolescent to the geriatric, and the sedentary to the active.

Her Philosophy of giving her patients tools to achieve success is supported by a compassionate and motivating atmosphere where people will feel successful and safe to achieve their goals and regain confidence in their function. Teaching her patients how to maintain and manage their condition and well-being as an active participant in Physical Therapy is key to success.

Laura has been an active person her entire life and enjoys aiding others in their success and return to activity and independence.    

aurandCindy Aurand, BS, PT
Cindy is a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient. She strives to work together with patients to achieve individualized rehab goals that help them maximize their abilities in their daily lives.

Christine Geller, BS, PTA
Christie Geller earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Dayton prior to completing the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Shawnee State University.  She has worked as a PTA for the last five years in both the outpatient and skilled nursing environments.  Prior to her time with COPCP, she spent six years in the corporate wellness profession managing an onsite employee wellness center.  Christie has a passion for helping her patients return to their prior level of function and enhance their overall quality of life.

hinton jacobJacob Hinton, DPT
Jacob Hinton graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from The Ohio State University. Jacob looks to further his knowledge and experience in the outpatient setting and plans to earn his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in the future.

Jacob’s goal is to provide patients with the highest quality of care possible, while providing them the knowledge and tools necessary to have confidence and continue their success outside of the clinic. 



Lindsay Wade, MS, PTA
Lindsay Wade earned a Master’s degree in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University prior to completing the Physical Therapist Assistant program from Marion Technical College.  She has experience working with a range of patients in the outpatient orthopedic setting.  Lindsay strives to help her patients regain strength and mobility to better enjoy their lives.

beaver amyAmy Beaver, BS, PTA
Amy graduated from University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science prior to completing the Physical Therapist Assistant program at North Central State Collage.  She has worked in Industrial and Outpatient settings since graduating. Amy enjoys helping her patients recover from their injuries and to help improve their quality of life.


Lisa Bosserman, PTA
Lisa is a compassionate therapist who quickly establishes a great rapport with her patients, making it easy for them to convey their needs. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes the need to treat each patient as unique, with individual needs and goals. She has a passion for improving the quality of life for her patients by providing quality care that empowers patients to thrive at their optimal level. The combination of almost 30 years of clinical experience and knowledge of current research/practice concepts helps her patients recover beyond pain relief so they live, work, and play with greater confidence and ease. Lisa is a graduate from the Central Ohio Technical College.

Heather Cordell is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant completing her degree    at The Bradford School in 2015.  She has experience in outpatient, assisted living    and skilled nursing facilities.  Heather enjoys working with all ages providing high    quality care, motivation and a positive experience in working towards improving      the  quality of life and returning to prior function.

Kevin Collins, PT
Kevin earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton. He strives to educate patients and provide the necessary tools for them to achieve a higher level of function. His treatment philosophies are promoted with compassion and encouragement in order to aid each patient to achieve their individual goals.
