About Michael R. Franks, MD
Dr. Franks received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton. His interest in medicine began as an undergraduate student while serving as an EMT crew chief on the U.D. Rescue Squad. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2000 and then completed his residency training at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Franks is board certified, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
His interests include hiking, experiencing new foods and cultures, and teaching children’s bible study. He and his wife, Julie, are blessed to be raising two children.
