A nuclear test (stress or pharmacological[medication]) determines whether or not your heart is getting enough blood flow.
To perform the test, we will inject a small amount of Cardiolite into your blood through an IV, and then a special camera
will be used to take pictures of your heart. If you are scheduled for a nuclear scan, please download our
Pharmacological Cardiolite Worksheet, or our
Stress Cardiolite Worksheet
for instructions on your procedure.
