Practice Overview

COPC Internal Medicine Group welcomes you to our practice. We are a group of board certified physicians who specialize in preventive medicine and disease management. We are proud to be a part of Central Ohio Primary Care (COPC), one of the largest physician-owned primary care medical groups in the United States. COPC currently has over 300 physicians, a state-of-the-art laboratory, cardiac testing centers, radiology service centers and physical therapists to help us provide the best possible care for our patients. We believe that by putting you at the center of your health care and supporting you with treatment plans and education, we can help you improve your overall health.

When You Visit

When you come to our office you will be asked to bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with any copay that you are responsible for. If you are able to print off the New Patient Forms shown on this web site, we ask that you fill these out completely and bring them with you or come in 10 minutes early for your appointment to fill them out while in the office. Also, please bring all medications that you are currently taking so we can go over them with you.

Prescription Policies and Information

We request patients be seen annually for routine medication refills. Typically, we do not call in antibiotics over the phone.  You should be seen to be treated.  We do NOT prescribe or refill controlled substances, such as narcotic pain medication, over the telephone.  Please have the following information available when calling the prescription line (614) 508-2672:  Your name and date of birth, name and strength of medication to be refilled, how often you take the medication and quantity you usually get, pharmacy phone number.

Summer Health Risks

With the summer season’s fun in full swing, it’s important to be aware of potential health and safety risks that can impact your family. To help you ensure a positive season for the whole family, we have information about some common risks and the precautions you can take.

SameDay Care Centers

Our SameDay Centers deliver excellent care that’s a cut above the typical Emergency Room and Urgent Care experience, at a significantly lower cost. By choosing one of our SameDay Centers, you can be seen after traditional hours or when your regular physician is unable to see you that same day.

After-Hours Support Center - (614) 865-3125

If you are a COPC patient, the After-Hours Support Center is available to help you find the care you need. When you call our After-Hours Support Center, a Nurse Practitioner on staff will address your concerns and guide you in the right direction. Mondays - Fridays from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm and weekends from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, our nurses can help you schedule appointments with your COPC physician, refer you to a SameDay Center, and help you with prescription refills until you can reach your COPC physician’s office directly (limited to small quantities of your current medications only.)
