What is the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Program?
Musculoskeletal (MSK) pain affects the spine, bones, muscles, joints, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Symptoms may include back and neck pain, fractures due to bone weakness, injuries, and certain types of arthritis. The MSK program is focused on conservatively managing conditions that are long-standing in nature, such as knee, hip, or shoulder osteoarthritis and chronic back pain.
The goal of our program is to provide conservative comprehensive management of your MSK condition in alignment with your personal goals. Our approach is designed to improve function and outcomes with a focus on the right treatment, at the right time, for the right reasons.

The physicians and staff at COPC Sports, Spine & Joint (CSSJ) are highly trained and
experienced care providers with backgrounds in sports medicine, physical medicine and
rehabilitation, and pain management.
The CSSJ inter-disciplinary care team is uniquely qualified to assess your current health status, understand your goals, and use that information to design an individualized care plan unique to you. Care plans include consideration of all possible options including both conservative and surgical interventions.
Not all pain requires surgical intervention. At CSSJ, the care team believes everyone’s pain
is unique and, therefore, the solutions to address an individual’s pain must also be unique.
The philosophy, at CSSJ, is to use a conservative management approach, whenever possible. The care team at CSSJ will thoroughly evaluate your current health status, understand your goals and consider all the possible options available to treat your unique needs including both conservative (such as injections, therapies and exercises, manipulative treatment, etc.) and surgical interventions.
As a shared-decision maker in you care, you will participate in the design of an individualized care plan that meets your needs. The CSSJ team ultimately wants to help you reduce your pain, improve your strength, function, and range of motion, and get you back to enjoying your daily activities of life.
For your convenience, there are multiple CSSJ locations around the central Ohio area including:
