Pediatric Support Center

Our Support Center provides care to COPC families that’s exceptionally better than the traditional Emergency Room and Urgent Care experience, at a significantly lower cost. Scheduling an appointment (through your child’s COPC pediatrician) with our Pediatric Support Center allows your child to be seen by one of our outstanding pediatricians after typical office hours and on weekends.

Crosswoods Pediatrics

At Crosswoods Pediatrics, our mission is to play a pivotal role in our patients' growth as happy and healthy children. We accomplish this by providing the best pediatric care possible and by helping parents support their children from birth to adolescence, and every step in between.

Asthma Education

Our all-inclusive program aims to give our patients the tools they need to become empowered and successful in managing their asthma. Through comprehensive education and a personalized action plan, we can help you and your child gain control of their asthma so that they are less likely to have asthma-related Urgent Care, Emergency Room, Hospital, and unnecessary office visits.

Winter Health and Safety Tips

With the winter season in full swing, it is important to watch out for the freezing temperatures and the increased risk for catching colds and the flu, which can become especially troublesome for children. To combat the woes of winter, we recommend that children: 6 months and older receive the flu vaccine, stay inside if the wind chill is below -15 degrees Fahrenheit, take breaks in colder temperatures to avoid prolonged exposure, and learn good hand hygiene (such as coughing into their elbows) to reduce the spread of infections.

Easy Hacks for Healthy Snacks

Snack time for your child can be easy, fun, and healthy both at home and on the go! To avoid the added sugar, salt, and fats found in processed snacks we recommend fresh fruits (grapes, apples, melon, and bananas), fresh vegetables (cherry tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, and cucumbers), calcium rich sliced/ cubed cheese, and protein packed nuts/ peanut butter. Providing a wide variety of these nutritious choices and having them prepared and portioned out ahead of time make it easy for your child to pick a snack that they want and that you approve of.
